Abstract of the Disclosure Improved dentifrices and mouthwashes contain a combination of (1) enzymes active to promote the breakdown by cleavage of polysaccharides and (2) oligoalkylglycoside surfactants, which, unlike other known surfactants, do not destroy the cleavage activity of the enzymes upon prolonged storage in mixtures with them.
