22 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention is concerned with collecting immunoglobulins from the oral cavity for immunological testing. A rinse and an absorbent pad are used to collect a specimen having a high concentration of immunoglobulins. The specimen can be subjected to a basic immunological testing technique which can be used as a tool for screening a patient for diseases. A test kit is also provided for.
