An ore car liner assembly to be positioned in an ore car body having a floor extending lengthwise between first and second end walls and extending crosswise between first and second side walls, the walls and floor defining corners where they meet. The ore car liner assembly includes a liner body formed to cover the floor and predetermined portions of the end walls and the side walls, the liner body including corner portions fitting into the corners of the ore car body, one or more support elements for supporting the liner body at at least a selected one of the corner portions thereof, and means for fastening the liner body to the ore car body.
