The present invention provides a compound of formula I: said compound is inhibitor of aldosterone synthase (CYP11B2), and/or 11beta-hydroxylase (CYP11B1), and/or aromatase, and thus can be employed for the treatment of a disorder or disease mediated by aldosterone synthase, aromatase, or CYP11B1. Accordingly, the compound of formula I can be used in treatment of hypokalemia, hypertension, congestive heart failure, renal failure, in particular, chronic renal failure, restenosis, atherosclerosis, syndrome X, obesity, nephropathy, post-myocardial infarction, coronary heart diseases, increased formation of collagen, fibrosis and remodeling following hypertension and endothelial dysfunction. Finally, the present invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition.
La présente invention concerne un composé de formule I : ledit composé étant un inhibiteur de l'aldostérone synthase (CYP11B2) et/ou de la 11-bêta-hydroxylase (CYP11B1) et/ou de l'aromatase et pouvant donc être employé pour le traitement d'un trouble ou d'une maladie faisant intervenir l'aldostérone synthase, l'aromatase ou la CYP11B1. Par conséquent, le composé de formule I peut être utilisé dans le traitement de l'hypokaliémie, de l'hypertension, d'une insuffisance cardiaque congestive, d'une insuffisance rénale, en particulier d'une insuffisance rénale chronique, de la resténose, de l'athérosclérose, du syndrome X, de l'obésité, d'une néphropathie, du syndrome de Dressler (post-infarctus du myocarde), de maladies cardiaques coronariennes, d'une formation accrue de collagène, d'une fibrose et d'un remodelage suite à de l'hypertension et d'un dysfonctionnement endothélial. Enfin, la présente invention concerne également une composition pharmaceutique.
