These complexes are useful as dyestuffs which are suitable for dyeing or printing various materials, such as natural and synthetic polyamides, for example wool, nylon and leather, and particularly suitable for dyeing artificially produced oxide layers on the surface of metallic aluminium or aluminium alloys.
