A B S T R A C T "QUINOPHTHALONIC DYES, A PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION THEREOF, AND THE USE THEREOF IN COMPOSITE PIGMENTS" There are described a new class of quinophthalonic organic dyes containing silane groups, composite pigments obtainable therefrom by associating them with a substrate (SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3), and processes for preparing the same. The silane organic dyes have the formula (I) : Image (I) Wherein R1,R2,R3,R4,R5,R6, n, m, and X are particularly defined and wherein Z indicates a compound of formula (II) : (II) Image wherein W,V,p,q and Y are particularly defined; Z being bound by means of an aminic bridge derived from one of the aminic groups present in formula (II).
