The invention relates to organic/inorganic hybrid polymer blends and hybrid polymer blend membranes that are composed of: one polymer acid halide containing SO2X, POX2 or COX groups (X=F, Cl, Br, I); one elemental or metallic oxide or hydroxide, obtained by the hydrolysis and/or the sol/gel reaction of an elemental and/or organometallic compound during the membrane forming process and/or by subsequently treating the membrane in aqueous acidic, alkaline or neutral electrolytes. The invention further relates to hybrid blends and hybrid blend membranes containing polymers that carry SO3H, PO3H2 and/or COOH groups, obtained by aqueous, alkaline or acidic hydrolysis of the polymer acid halides contained in the polymer blend or the polymer blend membrane. The invention also relates to methods for producing the inventive hybrid blends and hybrid blend membranes.
Mélanges polymères hybrides organiques/inorganiques et membranes constituées desdits mélanges polymères. Ces mélanges sont constitués d'un halogénure d'acide polymère possédant des groupes -SO¿2?X-, -POX¿2?- ou -COX- (X = F, Cl, Br, I), d'un oxyde ou hydroxyde élémentaire ou métallique obtenu par l'hydrolyse et/ou la réaction sol-gel d'un composé élémentaire et/ou organométallique pendant le processus de formation de la membrane et/ou par traitement ultérieur de la membrane dans des électrolytes aqueux acides, alcalins ou neutres. La présente invention concerne également des mélanges hybrides et des membranes constituées de mélanges hybrides qui contiennent des polymères portant des groupes SO¿3?H-, PO¿3?H¿2?- et/ou COOH obtenus par hydrolyse aqueuse alcaline ou acide des halogénures d'acide polymères contenus dans le mélange polymère ou dans la membrane constituée d'un mélange polymère. La présente invention concerne enfin des procédés de préparation de ces mélanges hybrides et de ces membranes constituées de mélanges hybrides.
