ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Composition containing from 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of organic magnesium and organic manganese compounds as a fuel conditioner to reduce fuel require- ments and sulfur trioxide emissions and method of using same. Suitable organic magnesium compounds are those selected from magnesium sulfonates and magnesium carbon- ates while the suitable organic manganese compounds are those of manganese salts of mixed aliphatic acids.
