ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Meta,para-isopropylidene bisphenol is homopolymerized and copolymerized to produce a variety of high performance thermoplastics having improved processing characteristics. In addition to polycarbonates, there are provided polyesters, poly- estercarbonates, polyepoxides, polysulfones, polyetherimides, polyformals, epoxy resins and polycarbonate-polydiorganosiloxane block polymers.
