ABSTRACT The present invention relates to solvent-borne polyamide modified polyurethane resins, coatings containing the same for use in automobile clearcoat and basecoat systems, and articles coated therewith. The polyamide modified polyurethane resins of the present invention are formed by reacting a polyamide with a prepolmer having at least two reactive hydrogens and a diisocyanate functional monomer.
