A panel for an organizing system wherein a number of adjacent panels are secured to a wall each of the panels having a tongue on one side, a groove on an opposite side, a second groove for fastening means securing the panels to the wall and a cover on each said panel for cooperating with the second groove of the adjacent panel to cover the fastening means and a channel for receiving hooks having a restricted opening for retaining the hooks.
