An organometallic composition is described which comprises a complex of at least one orthoester of a metal having a formula M(ROAcAc)x(OR')y in which M is selected from the group consisting of titanium, zirconium and hafnium; ROAcAc denotes an ester of an alcohol ROH, in which R comprises an (optionally substituted) C1-30 cyclic, branched or linear, alkyl, alkenyl, aryl or alkyl- aryl group or a mixture thereof, with acetoacetic acid; OR' is the residue of an alcohol R'OH in which R' comprises an (optionally substituted) C7-30 cyclic, branched or linear, alkyl, alkenyl, aryl or alkyl-aryl group or a mixture thereof, and x and y are each in the range 1 - 3. The composition is useful as a curing agent for polyurethanes used in various applications.

La présente invention concerne une composition organométallique comprenant un complexe d'au moins un orthoester de métal de la formule M(ROAcAc)¿x?(OR')¿y? dans laquelle M est choisi dans le groupe composé du titane, du zirconium et du hafnium ; ROAcAc représente un ester d'alcool ROH, où R comprend un groupe alkyle, alcényle, aryle ou alkyl-aryle cyclique, ramifié ou linéaire (facultativement substitué) en C¿1-30? ou un mélange de ce dernier, avec un acide acétoacétique ; OR' est le résidu d'un alcool R'OH dans lequel R' comprend un groupe alkyle, alcényle, aryle ou alkyl-aryle cyclique, ramifié ou linéaire (facultativement substitué) en C¿7-30? ou un mélange de ce dernier, et x et y sont chacun compris entre 1 et 3. La composition de l'invention est utilisée comme agent de durcissement de polyuréthanes utilisés dans diverses applications.
