Disclosed are organopolysiloxane-containing, water-based compositions which are essentially free from organic solvents, have a flash point of above 70°C and liberate essentially no alcohols through hydrolysis on dilution with water, and which contain, as functional groups, a glycidyl-oxyalkyl, acryloxyalkyl or methacryloxyalkyl group, where each silicon in the organopolysiloxane carries one functional group; processes for the preparation of the organopolysiloxane-containing compositions and to their use, for example, for hydrophobicization of surfaces.
Compositions aqueuses renfermant des organopolysiloxanes, pratiquement exemptes de solvants organiques, à point d'éclair supérieur à 70 degrés C, ne libérant pratiquement pas d'alcools par hydrolyse en dilution avec de l'eau, et renfermant, comme groupes fonctionnels, un glycidyl-oxyalkyle, un acryloxyalkyle ou un méthacryloxyalkyle; chaque silicium dans l'organopolysiloxane porte un groupe fonctionnel; méthodes pour préparer ces compostions à base d'organopolysiloxanes, et leur utilisation, notamment pour rendre des surfaces hydrophobes.
