ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE PTIOTOSENSITIZERS AND METHIODS FOR THEIR PREPARATION Abstract Movel photosensitizers are disclosed which are Particularly useful in photopolymerizable orcganopolysiloxane and silicone resins. The photosensitizes are themselves organopolysiloxanes which contain at least one silicon-bonded benzophenone-containing radical. Synthesis methods are disclosed for perparing these photosensitizers which employ, as starting materials, an alkenyloxy-substituted benzophenone and a silicon compound containing at least one silicon-bonded hydrogen atom.
