The present invention relates to use of an inhibitor compound in an organosilicon composition for inhibiting curing of the organosilicon composition by a hydrosilylation reaction at a temperature of 40 ~C to 100 ~C, or 100 ~C and above, and a pressure of 1 x 106 n/m2 to 5 x 106 N/m2, or 5 x 106 N/m2 and above. In a preferred application the organosilicon composition cures to form a silicone gel or elastomeric seal or plug within an oil or gas well. Preferred inhibitor compounds are 1-ethynyl-1-cyclopentanol and 1- ethynyl-1-cyclohexanol.

La présente invention concerne l'utilisation, dans une composition organosiliciée, d'un composé inhibiteur permettant d'inhiber une hydrosylilation de la composition organosiliciée à une température allant de 40 ·C à 100 ·C, ou de 100 ·C et plus, et à une pression de 1 x 10?6¿ n/m?2¿, ou de 5 x 10?6¿ N/m?2¿ et supérieure. Dans une réalisation préférée, la composition organosiliciée durcit en formant un gel de silicone ou un joint étanche élastomère, ou un bouchon dans un puits de gaz ou de pétrole. Des composés inhibiteurs préférés sont le 1-éthynyl-1-cyclopentanol et le 1-éthynyl-1-cyclohexanol.
