ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A composition which is curable to a flame retardant, pigmented silicone rubber. The composition consists essentially of a polydiorganosiloxane convertible to the solid elastic state, a reinforcing silica filler, an organic peroxide curing agent, platinum and a pyrazolone pigment. Such pigments have the advantage of not substantially reducing the flame retardant properties of the rubber.
