Description

An orifice installation for sealing a plate (50) within a fitting (12) is disclosed. The plate (50) has a seal (64) surrounding its outer circumference. The seal (64) has a large base area (64) of elastomeric material and an outer and inner periphery face (900, 902, 9l?4, 906, 908). A cen- tral circumferential extension (904) larger than the distance in the fitting (12) for permitting en- try of a plate carrying device is formed between the shoulders (900, 902). Circumferential in- dentations (906, 908) formed in the base (64) separate the shoulders (900; 902) from the exten- sion (904).
