An ornament, comprising a support member, a pair of support pieces formed on the support member at a specified interval so as to be projected upward, shaft holes formed in the pair of support pieces at the positions opposed to each other, a gem supporter holding a gem such as a diamond positioned movably between the pair of support pieces, and a pair of support shafts having the lower parts thereof supported on the shaft holes at the lower positions near the opening end parts formed on the slopes of the gem supporter at the positions opposed to the shaft holes in the pair of support pieces, wherein the position of the gravity center of the gem such as the diamond is varied to automatically move the gem such as the diamond even if the support member is moved slightly, whereby the brightness of the gem such as the diamond can be developed fully.
