An orthopaedic brace including a strut length adjustment assembly (30), to change the operable length of the strut for sizing the brace on a patient without the need for a special tool or cutting the strut. The adjustment assembly (30) includes a biased adjustment mechanism (38) that coacts with a plurality of notches (62) in the strut to variably set/position the strut relative to the adjustment assembly (30), to set the strut length. Each upper and lower strut (12, 14) preferably includes a strut length adjustment assembly to independently set the length of each strut. The strut length adjustment assembly retains a strut and includes a strap retention mechanism that is configured to releasably engage the strap.
L'invention concerne une gaine orthopédique dotée d'un assemblage de réglage de longueur d'entretoise (30), permettant de modifier la longueur d'utilisation de l'entretoise pour ajuster la taille de la gaine sur un patient, sans avoir à se servir d'un outil particulier ou découper l'entretoise. L'assemblage de réglage (30) possède un mécanisme de réglage orienté (38) jouant sur plusieurs crans (62) de l'entretoise, afin de régler/placer l'entretoise de manière variable, par rapport à l'assemblage de réglage (30), en vue de régler la longueur de l'entretoise. Chaque entretoise supérieure et inférieure (12, 14) présente de préférence un assemblage de réglage de longueur d'entretoise permettant de fixer en toute indépendance la longueur de chaque entretoise. L'assemblage de réglage de longueur de l'entretoise maintient une entretoise et comporte un mécanisme de retenue de sangle configuré de manière à enclencher/désenclencher la sangle.
