An apparatus for treating fractures. The apparatus may include one or both of an implant, such as an intramedullary nail (100), and a fastening assembly (200)), such as a lag screw (202) and compression screw assembly (204). The implant has a proximal section with a transverse aperture (118). The fastening assembly may be received to slide, in a controlled way, in the transverse aperture of the implant. The engaging member and the compression device are configured so that the compression device interacts with a portion of the implant and a portion of the engaging member to enable controlled movement between the first and second bone fragments. This configuration is useful for, among other things, compressing a fracture.
La présente invention a trait à un appareil destiné au traitement de fractures. L'appareil peut comporter un ou les deux parmi un implant, tels qu'un clou intramédullaire (100), et un ensemble de fixation (200), tel qu'un ensemble de vis tire-fond (202) et de vis de compression (204). L'implant comporte une section proximale avec une ouverture transversale (118). L'ensemble de fixation peut être reçu pour glisser, de manière contrôlée, dans l'ouverture transversale de l'implant. L'organe d'engagement et le dispositif de compression sont conformés de sorte que le dispositif de compression réalise une interaction avec une portion de l'implant et une portion de l'organe d'engagement pour permettre le mouvement contrôlé entre des premier et deuxième fragments osseux.
