A therapeutic helmet cap (20) for the head of a small child comprising an outer shell (32), and an inner lining (34). The outer shell includes at least two, preferably three integrally affixed portions which differ in rigidity, and flexibility. The lining includes an absorbent layer (34) covered by a moisture permeable lining (36) for contacting the head. Preferred embodiments may include an outer shell which includes a cap-like ventilating portion (22), a substantially annular rigid therapeutic portion (26) affixed to the ventilating portion, and an elastic form fitting portion (29) affixed to the therapeutic portion. The invention also includes a method of manufacturing the therapeutic helmet.
L'invention concerne un casque thérapeutique (20) destiné à la tête d'un enfant, le casque comprenant une coque extérieure (32) et une doublure intérieure (34). La coque extérieure comprend au moins deux, de préférence trois, parties intégralement fixées différentes en rigidité et en souplesse. La doublure comprend une couche absorbante (34) couverte par une doublure perméable à l'humidité (36) destinée à être en contact avec la tête. Dans des modes de réalisation préférés, une coque extérieure comprend une partie d'aération en forme de bonnet (22), une partie thérapeutique annulaire sensiblement rigide (26) fixée à la partie d'aération et une partie élastique à ajustement de forme (29) fixée à la partie thérapeutique. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication du casque thérapeutique.
