A mould oscillator for a continuous casting machine comprises at least two tensile elements (46, 48, 50) disposed so as to always remain in tension. The tensile elements (46, 48, 50) lie on respective radii extending from the radius of curvature of the casting radius R and are anchored to a fixed external frame (40, 42, 44). The oscillating drive (90) is in the form of a cam (104) which moves a follower (108) pivoted at one end. A transfer element (124) between the follower (108) and the mould (20) transmits the oscillation to the mould (20) and the oscillation stroke is varied by adjustment means (142) changing the distance of the cam (104) from the pivoted end of the follower (108).
Oscillateur de moule de machine à coulée continue comprenant au moins deux éléments élastiques (46, 48, 50) placés de manière à toujours demeurer en tension. Les éléments élastiques (46, 48, 50) reposent sur des rayons correspondants qui s'étendent à partir du rayon de courbure du rayon de moulage (R) et sont ancrés à un cadre extérieur fixe (40, 42, 44). Le mécanisme d'oscillation (90) prend la forme d'une came (104) qui déplace un galet (108) articulé à une de ses extrémités. Un élément de transfert (124) entre le galet (108) et le moule (20) transmet l'oscillation au moule (20) et l'importance de l'oscillation est modifiée à l'aide d'un mécanisme de réglage (142) qui permet de changer la distance séparant la came (104) de l'extrémité articulée du galet (108).
