An oscillator screen cleaning apparatus (10, 110) includes a housing (12, 112) having a plurality of spray nozzles (18, 118) to spray a printing screen (16, 116) with solvent. An oscillating mechanism (25, 128) oscillates the screen in front of the spray nozzles, which nozzles (18, 118) are arranged in opposing grid patterns for complete coverage of the screen with sprayed solvent. The srprayed solvent is collected, filtered and resprayed onto the screen at a high spray rate. Housing (12, 112) is coupled to a vapor recovery system (110, 145) to keep solvent vapors from escaping into the environment. In one embodiment (110), guide brackets (170) guide the screen (16, 116) perpendicular to the nozzles (18, 118) from the screen's sides to handle screens of different heights. A reservoir (120) with a sloped wall (140) and a pump (123) recaptures sprayed solvent and pumps it to the nozzles (18, 118) for recycling. A wipe down booth (152) captures excess solvent from a screen (16, 116) removed from the housing (12, 112) and directs the captured solvent to the reservoir (120).

Un mécanisme oscillant (25, 128) fait osciller la trame face aux becs pulvérisateurs, lesdits becs (18, 118) étant disposés suivant des quadrillages opposés de façon à couvrir complètement la trame avec le solvant pulvérisé. Celui-ci est recueilli, filtré et repulvérisé en direction de la trame à une vitesse de pulvérisation élevée. Le logement (12, 112) est couplé à un système (110, 145) de récupération de vapeur afin d'empêcher les vapeurs du solvant de s'échapper dans l'atmosphère. Selon un mode de réalisation (110), des consoles de guidage (170) guident la trame (16, 116) perpendiculairement aux becs (18, 118) à partir des côtés de ladite trame de façon à manipuler des trames de hauteurs différentes. Un réservoir (120) pourvu d'une paroi inclinée (140) et d'une pompe (123) récupère le solvant pulvérisé et le ré-injecte dans les becs de pulvérisation (18, 118) en vue de son recyclage. Une cabine de séchage (152) capture le solvant en excès qui coule d'une trame (16, 116) que l'on retire du logement (12, 112) et elle dirige ledit solvant capturé vers le réservoir (120).
