Provided are functional epitopes of osteopontin (OPN), monoclonal antibodies that specifically bind to the epitopes, immunoconjugates comprising the monoclonal antibodies and use of the monoclonal antibodies or immunoconjugates for manufacturing a medicament for the treatment of tumor. Also provided are nucleotide sequences encoding the monoclonal antibodies and vectors and host cells comprising the sequences. The monoclonal antibodies or immunoconjugates can be used for detecting the OPN, blocking the promoting metastasis-signaling pathway mediated by OPN and preventing the development and metastasis of tumor, thereby inhibiting the tumor.

L'invention concerne des épitopes fonctionnels d'ostéopontine (OPN), des anticorps monoclonaux se liant de façon spécifique avec ces épitopes, des immunoconjugués comprenant les anticorps monoclonaux et l'utilisation de ces anticorps monoclonaux ou des immunoconjugués afin de préparer un médicament de traitement de la tumeur. Elle concerne également des séquences de nucléotides codant les anticorps monoclonaux, ainsi que des vecteurs et des cellules hôtes comprenant ces séquences. On peut utiliser les anticorps monoclonaux ou les immunoconjugués afin de détecter OPN, de bloquer le trajet de signalisation favorisant les métastases médié par OPN et d'empêcher le développement et les métastases de la tumeur, ce qui permet d'inhiber cette dernière.
