Five variations of a basic type of osteosynthesis plate, in which the regions of one and the same plate have the same thickness or the various regions of one and the same plate are different can find application in various parts of the human or animal body. The basic type is an isosceles triangle with a middle web. The five variations correspond to an extension of the mid web and/or one or other or both of the sides of the basic type. An example of an application is the Collum mandibulae fracture in humans.
