The invention concerns an osteosynthesis system, comprising at least a linking element (1) in the form of a rod, at least two fixing elements each capable of being anchored in a vertebra, a locking screw (13). The invention is characterised in that the base of the head (5) has a general horse-saddle shape, and the head (5) has guide means for an independent closure component designed to be fixed on the head (5) after the linking element (1) has been positioned in the fork of the head (5), said closure component (3) being generally U-shaped whereof the branches are urged to co-operate with the branches of the fork-shaped part of the head (5) and whereof the base comprises an internal thread for co-operating with the locking screw (13) and the guide means provided on the head (5) is formed by an arc-shaped shoulder on the outer side surfaces of the fork-shaped part. The invention also concerns an ancillary and an element for fixing such a system.
La présente invention concerne un système pour osthéo-synthèse, comprenant: au moins un élément de liaison (1) en forme de tige, au moins deux moyens de fixation susceptibles d'être chacun an-crés dans une vertèbre, une vis de blocage (13), caracterisée en ce que le fond de la tête (5) présente une forme générale de selle de cheval, en ce que la tête (5) présente un moyen de guidage pour une pièce de fermeture indépendante apte à être fixée sur la tête (5) après position-nement de l'élément de liaison (1) dans la fourche de la tête (5), ladite pièce de fermeture (3) présentant une forme générale de "U" dont les branches viennent coopérer avec les branches de la partie en forme de fourche de la tête (5) et dont le fond comporte un taraudage pour la coopération avec la vis de blocage (13) et en ce que le moyen de guidage prévu sur la tête (5) est formé par un épaulement arqué sur les surfaces latérales extérieures de la partie en forme de fourche. L'inven-tion concerne également un ancillaire et un élément de fixation pour un tel système.
