The invention provides a biodegradable, flushable ostomy bag liner comprising: inner walls (3, 4) formed from polyvinylacetate/polyvinylalcohol film of a grade which disintegrates within 60 seconds in water at 50 ~C, but retains its structural integrity in water at 25 ~C for at least two days; outer walls (1, 2) formed from a non-woven fabric which disintegrates in water at 25 ~C; means defining an opening (8) in the inner and outer walls for receiving bodily waste from the stoma of a patient; and adhesive flange (7) for securing the ostomy bag liner to the body wall of a patient, the adhesive flange (7) being secured to at least an inner wall (1) of the liner and surrounding the said opening (8); wherein the inner and outer walls (1, 2, 3, 4) are unconnected and form an non-laminar arrangement over the greater part of their area, but are connected together around their peripheral margins (5) and in the region of the adhesive flange (7).
L'invention se rapporte à une doublure de sac de collecte de selles, biodégradable, jetable dans les toilettes, comprenant: des parois internes (3, 4) constituées d'un film de polyvinylacétate/alcool polyvinylique dont la qualité permet qu'il se désintègre en 60 secondes dans de l'eau à 50 ~C, mais conserve son intégrité structurale dans de l'eau à 25 ~C pendant au moins deux jours; des parois externes (1, 2) constituées d'un tissu non tissé qui se désintègre dans de l'eau à 25 ~C; un moyen définissant une ouverture (8) dans les parois interne et externe pour permettre la réception des déchets biologiques provenant de l'estomac d'un patient; un bord adhésif (7) qui permet de fixer la doublure du sac de collecte de selles sur le corps d'un patient, ce bord adhésif (7) étant fixé sur au moins une paroi interne (1) de la doublure et entourant l'ouverture (8). Les parois interne et externe (1, 2, 3, 4) sont interconnectées et forment un agencement non laminaire sur la majeure partie de leur surface, mais sont raccordées au niveau de leurs marges périphériques (5) et dans la région du bord adhésif (7).
