ABSTRACT An ostomy bag, having an aperture for passage of the stoma, and a coupling member of resilient synthetic plastics material permanently affixed to the bag encircling the aperture. The coupling member has two opposed walls of channel form when seen in cross-section and is adapted to secure the bag to another coupling member affixed to the body. The bag is useful in that it can be securely coupled to an adhesive pad or dressing on the body.
