The invention relates to an otter board (1) with a generally oval contour, having a length to height ratio of approximately 1.3 to 1.5 inclusive, with a pair of dished foils (3, 4), whilst the remainder (2) of the wall thereof is solid. The intermediate foil (3) is provided with a bracket (7) on the ventral face thereof, for the attachment of a trawl warp, the opposing face of the board called the dorsal face comprises fixing means for the attachment to the trawl bridle. The transverse section of the above has the approximate form of a dihedral, the intersection of which runs horizontally, essentially along the medial longitudinal axis thereof, the angle of which lies between approximately 165· and 175· and is open to the dorsal face thereof. Said board is suitable for low-speed fishing, particularly fishing for shrimps in cold waters.
Ce panneau de chalut (1), de contour général ovale, présente un ratio de longueur sur hauteur compris entre 1,3 et 1,5 environ, comporte en partie antérieure une paire de "foils" (3, 4) de forme incurvée, tandis que le reste (2) de sa paroi est pleine, le foil (3) intermédiaire étant pourvu sur sa face ventrale d'un branchon (7) permettant de l'attacher à une fune de traction, la face opposée - dite dorsale - du panneau portant des moyens de fixation permettant de l'attacher au bras d'un chalut, et sa section transversale affecte approximativement la forme d'un dièdre dont l'arête s'étend horizontalement, sensiblement selon son axe longitudinal médian, et dont l'angle, de valeur comprise entre 165~ et 175~ environ, est ouvert du côté de sa face dorsale. Panneau adapté à la pêche à faible vitesse, notamment à la pêche à la crevette dans les mers froides.
