The present invention relates to an outboard engine transportation rack comprising an elongated body portion with a head and a tail portion located at opposite ends. The head section is adapted to support in a stable position an upper portion of the outboard engine and the tail section is adapted to support in a stable position a tail portion of the outboard engine. The head section is larger then the tail section, and provided with adjustable means adapted to adjust positioning of the upper portion of an outboard engine depending on its particular size. The tail section also has positioning means adapted to position the tail of the engine on the rack. The adjustable means is a pair of restraining bars mounted on a top surface of the head section; these restraining bars are adapted to be adjustably fixed in a desired position around the upper portion of the engine. The restraining bars are adjusted by tightening means adapted to be adjustably positioned within corresponding transversely oriented slots formed on the top surface of the head section.
