An outboard engine unit having a cover halved into two. An undercover (40) is made of a resin and halved into a left resin half (60L) and a right resin half (60R). A lower mount cover (50) is made of a resin and halved into a left resin half (70L) and a right resin half (70R). The resin halves (60L, 60R; 70L, 70R) are formed so that when they are mated together, a gap (W) is defined at a connection (80) therebetween on a rear face side of the outboard engine unit (10). An elastic rubber member (90) is filled in the gap.
