An outboard jet drive boat apparatus has a boat hull (11) having a transom (12) and having a removably attached outboard jet drive (10) attached to the transom (12). The outboard jet drive (10) includes a housing (13) sealed against the intrusion of water and has an engine mounting platform (14) therein having an engine (16) mounted thereon on flexible engine mounts (15). The housing (13) has a sealable entrance through the top thereof and is removably attached to the transom (12). A jet drive unit (17) is attachedin the housing (13) below the engine supporting platform (14) andextending generally parallel to the engine (16) and extending from the front of the housing (13) out the rear of the housing (13).A main fuel tank (33) is positioned inside the hull (11) and is connected to a fuel line (35) to an auxiliary fuel tank (38) inside the housing (13) and the auxiliary fuel tank (38) is connected to the engine (16) for feeding fuel to the engine (16).
Hors-bord à propulsion par réaction, présentant une coque (11) équipée d'une barre de pont (12) et de moyens de propulsion par réaction (10) reliés amovibles à ladite barre (12). Les moyens de propulsion (10) comprennent un logement hermétique (13), empêchant toute introduction d'eau et présentent une plate-forme (14) de montage du moteur, comportant un moteur (16) monté sur des moyens de montage souples (15). Le logement (13) présente, en sa partie supérieure, une entrée pouvant être fermée hermétiquement et est relié amovible à la barre de pont de la coque (11). Une unité de propulsion par réaction (17) est montée dans le logement (13) au-dessous de la plate-forme (14) supportant le moteur et s'étend sensiblement parallèlement au moteur (16) de l'avant vers l'arrière de ce logement (13). L'unité de propulsion par réaction (17) est reliée coopérante avec la partie supérieure du moteur (16) par un mécanisme d'embrayage. Un réservoir principal de carburant (33) est disposé à l'intérieur de la coque (11) et est connecté à un conduit de carburant (35) vers un réservoir auxiliaire (38) à l'intérieur du logement (13), le réservoir auxiliaire (38) étant connecté au moteur (16) pour alimenter celui-ci en carburant. Une pompe à carburant (41) est montée dans le logement (13) en vue de pomper le carburant vers le moteur (16) à partir du réservoir auxiliaire (38), et du réservoir principal (33) vers le réservoir auxiliaire (38). Des moyens de commande électriques sont logés dans le couple de la coque, à travers le logement (13) vers les moyens de commande, de manière à assurer la commande du moteur (16) et de l'unité de propulsion par réaction (17).
