An outdoor telecommunications cabinet comprising an electronic compartment adapted to contain heat-generating electrical equipment, having a main electronic compartment including a rear wall panel and two clamshell doors, a floor panel and a cover panel, including access areas and an equipment storage area, the main compartment being adapted to contain heat-generating electrical equipment, at least one rack inside said main electronic compartment for electronic equipment, a base assembly supporting the said electronic compartment, having a width and depth similar to said main electronic compartment capable of being anchored to a base plate or pad, a ventilated sub- compartment in the base assembly containing an environmental cooling system, a pair of clamshell doors, movable between an open position permitting access to both front and back sides of said electrical equipment and a closed position in which the doors maintain a substantially closed environment in the electronic compartment, a cable entry port, typically on the rear wall panel, and a return air duct assembly mounted to said rear panel to form an enclosed duct vertically traversing the length of the electronic compartment and interfacing with a cutout area on the floor panel for circulating airflow through an enclosed path to the electronic compartment.

La présente invention a trait à une cabine de télécommunications comportant un compartiment électronique destiné à contenir un équipement électrique de génération thermique, comprenant un compartiment électronique principal, incluant un panneau de paroi de fond et deux portes coquille, un panneau de plancher et un panneau de toit, comprenant des zones d'accès et une zone de rangement de matériel, le compartiment principal étant apte à contenir l'équipement électrique de génération thermique, au moins un bâti dans ledit compartiment électronique principale pour le matériel électronique, un ensemble de base supportant ledit compartiment électronique, ayant une largeur et une profondeur identiques au dit compartiment électronique apte à être arrimé à un socle ou bloc, un sous-compartiment aéré dans l'ensemble de base renfermant un système de refroidissement de conditionnement d'air, une paire de portes coquille, mobiles entre une position d'ouverture permettant l'accès à la fois aux faces avant et arrière dudit équipement électrique et une position de fermeture dans laquelle les portes assurent un environnement sensiblement clos dans le compartiment électronique, un orifice d'entrée de câbles, notamment sur le panneau de paroi arrière, et un ensemble de conduit de reprise monté au dit panneau arrière pour former un conduit gainé s'étendant verticalement sur toute la longueur du compartiment électronique et servant d'interface avec une zone découpée sur le panneau de plancher pour la circulation d'un flux d'air à travers un trajet clos vers le compartiment électronique.
