ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A high-voltage open bus-and-switch structure is proposed the primary circuit of which comprises pieces of commutation and protection electrical equipment mounted on supports that carry also troughs with secondary circuit cables of the bus- -and-switch structure and cables for internal needs thereof, the cables being arranged along the bases of the troughs and protected with covers that serve to secure the troughs to the supports. The bases of the troughs are designed as cross-pie- ces the ends of which are detachable joined to the covers in the immediate vicinity to and along the edges thereof. The bases are located above the ground at a height level ensuring for the maintenance personnel the possibility to move easily withint the planned site and to overhaul said cables right from this site.
