Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to an outdoor high-voltage switchgear assembly which includes electrically coupled protective and measuring apparatus and electrical switching apparatus. The electrical switching apparatus includes at least one circuit breaker. Each of the apparatuses is mounted on its own base and is rigidly secured to a foundation, and the foundation of the circuit breaker and at least one other of the apparatuses comprises two unburied foundation beams to form a common foundation for the circuit breaker and the other apparatus. A pad of crushed stone or gravel may be provided under the beams of the common foundation.
