ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Air outlet tubes for air conditioning systems are subdivided into a plurality of tube portions which are provided with corresponding male and female coupling elements at either end. The tube portions are of dif- ferent forms and lengths so that complete air outlets may be assembled which suit the particular requirements of each working place, desk etc. to be ventilated. One end of the air outlets are plugged into an air outlet port which is part of an air duct extending of the air conditioning system, underneath the floor. The male and female coupling elements may also in- clude plugs and sockets for electric wires and telephone cables which run inside the tube portion. When the outlet tube is assembled from a plurality of tube portions, each plug fits into the corresponding socket so that an outlet tube is obtained which not only conducts the conditioned air, but also includes the supply lines for electric lights, and telephones.
