ABSTRACT A circuit arrangement provided with two amplifiers having a common input and being operated in push-pull and with a load impedance being connected between their output, is protected against short-circuit- ing either one of the outputs of the two amplifiers. To that purpose a first d.c. passing circuit is included between the output of the one amplifier and a d.c.-bias point of the other amplifier and a second d.c. passing circuit is included between the output of the other amplifier and a d.c.-bias point of the one amplifier. Not only the two amplifiers, but also the load is protected in this way against short-circuiting.
