A rear-view mirror for vehicle is disclosed. The convex of the mirror is composed of differential surfaces that are smoothly and joined with each other with continuously varying average curvature. The average curvature increase gradually along the longitudinal direction from top to bottom of the mirror and along the horizontal direction away from the body of the vehicle. Furthermore, the mirror in accordance with the present invention provides a wider viewing around both sides and in rear of the vehicle without blind spots and a clear image with little distortion that is visually acceptable to a driver.

Rétroviseur extérieur pour véhicule, présentant une face convexe formée de plusieurs cambrures différentes ayant des courbures moyennes différentes et étant reliées les unes aux autres de manière homogène. Les courbures moyennes des différentes cambrures augmentent dans le sens vertical du haut du rétroviseur vers le bas, ainsi que dans le sens horizontal du côté proche du véhicule vers le côté éloigné de celui-ci.
