An oval cutter consists of a clickerplate (20) for adjusting the ellipticy of ovals in a single movement. The clickerplate (20) can be rotated around a base unit (12) using a knob (36) mounted on the clickerplate (20). One embodiment has a storage compartment (38) in the knob (36). A further embodiment has an arm (28) that translates through the clickerplate (20) and a swivel plate (24) for setting the overall size of the ovals. An indicator (33) shows which direction the oval is being rendered.
L'invention concerne une pièce coupante pour ellipse consistant en une plaque de découpage (20) permettant d'ajuster l'ellipticité des ovales d'un seul mouvement. On peut faire tourner cette plaque de découpage (20) autour d'un module de base (12) en utilisant un bouton (36) monté sur ladite plaque (20). Dans l'un des modes de réalisation la pièce comporte un compartiment de stockage (38) dans le bouton (36). Dans un autre mode de réalisation un bras (28) effectue une translation à travers la plaque de découpage (20) et une plaque pivot (24) permet de régler la taille des ellipses. Un indicateur (33) montre dans quel sens l'ellipse est découpée.
