ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE A clasp for pushing and pulling heated metal oven racks from within and into heated ovens, stoves, ranges and barbeques. Comprises a frame having a body, a neck, a head and two longitudinal arms that are connected to the head. Each of the arms has a portion defining a transverse groove. The groove are coaxial with each other. A tongue is disposed within the frame and is connected to the head. The tongue nor the pair of arms are flexible. The tongue has a portion defining a transverse groove opposite to the grooves in the arms. The combination of the grooves form an axial housing for the bars of the oven rack, which enables an oven rack to be pulled or pushed from within or into, a heated or unheated oven in a single swift action. The neck is disposed in the frame and connected to the back of the head of the frame on the opposite side of the head from the arms of the frame. Adjacent to the tongue, the neck runs horizontal in length away from the head of the frame. A body is disposed within the frame and is connected to the neck of the frame. The body runs horizontal in length from the end of the neck. The Body and the neck of the frame are not flexible. The body and the neck of the frame form a handle to keep your hands at a safe distance away from the heat of the oven rack when the oven rack bars are position inside the axial housing of the clasp created by the arms and tongue of the frame.
