An over-center toggle latch (fig. 3) for securing two members together having a latch housing (20) affixed to one of the members, a keeper (100) affixed to the other of the members (109) a toggle (30) pivotally mounted within the housing (20) for pivotal movement between a first position and a second position, and a retainer (60) disposed within the housing (20) and in pivotal contact with each of the housing (20) and the toggle (30) for retaining the toggle (30) in either of the first and second positions. The keeper (100) pivots the toggle (30) from the first position to the second position upon the closing of the latch (fig. 3) and the keeper (100) pivots the toggle (30) from the second position to the first position upon the opening of the latch (fig. 3). A switch (70) operable between a closed position and an open position wherein a circuit (71, 72) is closed only when the keeper (100) is in the second position and the circuit (71, 72) is open only when the keeper (100) is in the first position, the switch (70) being completely inoperable until the keeper (100) is fully inserted in the housing (20) whereby closing of the circuit (71, 72) is avoided.
L'invention concerne un système de verrouillage à levier décentré (fig. 3) destiné à fixer deux éléments ensemble présentant un logement de verrouillage (20) fixé à un des éléments, une gâche (100) fixée à l'autre des éléments (109), un levier (30) monté pivotant à l'intérieur du logement (20) pour effectuer un mouvement pivotant entre une première position et une seconde position, et un dispositif de retenue (60) disposé à l'intérieur du logement (20) en contact pivotant avec le logement (20) ainsi que le levier (30) afin de retenir ledit levier (30) dans l'une des première et seconde positions. La gâche (100) fait pivoter le levier (30) de la première position à la seconde position lors de la fermeture dudit système de verrouillage (fig. 3) et la gâche (100) fait pivoter le levier (30) de la seconde position à la première position lors de l'ouverture du système de verrouillage (fig. 3). Un interrupteur (70) peut passer d'une position fermée à une position ouverte et inversement, il comprend un circuit (71, 72) fermé uniquement lorsque la gâche (100) se trouve dans la seconde position, et le circuit (71, 72) est ouvert uniquement lorsque la gâche (100) se trouve dans la première position, l'interrupteur (70) étant complètement inopérant jusqu'à ce que la gâche (100) soit entièrement insérée dans le logement (20) ce qui permet d'éviter la fermeture du circuit (71, 72).
