The overhead attachable storage shelf may be used for elevated storage of objects. A shelf assembly may have at least two cross members that may have an L-sectional structure with multiple parallel aligned rail elements disposed between the cross members. The rail elements may be attached to a horizontal portion of each of the cross members. At least two hanger elements may be attached at a first end to a vertical portion of each cross member adjacent transverse ends thereof. Each of the hanger elements at a second end may be attached to an attachment bracket that may be attached to a building support structure.
