A B S T R A C T. - OVERHEAD CABLE TRANSPORT INSTALLATION WITH REGULAR SPACED LOAD SUPPORTING CARRIAGES. Gondola lift or chairlift with carriages supporting a gon- dola or a chair and having a grip for coupling on a conti- nuously moving cable. In the terminals the carriages un- coupled from the cable run without stopping on a transfer rail. The carriages are regularly spaced and the transfer rail comprises a rail section equipped with a rhythm device which controls the go out at regular time intervals of the carriages.
