A door roller comprised of a molded plastic wheel and a stainless steel shaft is more resilient to chemical attack. This is an importantconsideration as the door roller may be used, for example, in overhead doors in harsh environments. Furthermore, the molded plastic wheel is self-lubricating, meaning that no lubricating grease need be added. This in turn will improve the free-rolling of the door rollers in the tracks of the overhead doors.
