ABSTRACT Oxadiazole derivativea of the general formula. Image I wherein R represents a phenyl radical, unsubstituted or substituted by from 1 to 5 substituents, selected from halogen atoms, nitro, cyano, hydroxy, alkyl, alkoxy, alkenyl, alkenyloxy, alkynyl, alkynyloxy, alkylthio, alkylsulphonyl, dialkylamino, carbamoyloxy unsubstituted or substituted by one or two alkyl radicals, and trifluoromethyl radicals, or R representa a phenyl radical substituted by a divalent alkylenedloxy radical in which the alkylene moiety contains from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a naphthyl radical or a pyridyl radical the naphthyl and pyridyl radicals being unsubstituted or substituted by 1, 2 or 3 substituents, selected from halogen atoms, and alkyl, alkoxy and alkylthio radicals, are new compounds useful as fungicides.
