ABSTRACT Graft copolymers prepared by reacting oxazolines or oxazines with cross-linked vinyl aromatic polymers having pendant halomethyl groups on the aromatic rings. As macro- porous beads they are especially useful for removing phenolics from aqueous waste streams, and color bodies from bleached Kraft pulp effluent.
