ABSTRACT Magnesium alloys containing from up to 12% aluminum, up to 1.5% zinc, up to 1.5% silicon, up to 0.18% manganese, 0.0025% to 0.015% beryllium are die cast without need for protective flux coverings. Die cast products that do not contain harmful flux inclu- sions are produced thereby.
