This invention relates to an oxidative autothermal reformer (1) comprising a reforming layer (2) at least partially filled with a reforming catalyst for producing a reformed gas composed mainly of hydrogen through a reforming reaction by contacting a mixture of a hydrocarbon or an aliphatic alcohol and steam with the reforming catalyst; and an oxidative exothermic layer (3) at least partially filled with an oxidation catalyst for generating heat by oxidizing a part of the reformed gas, in which the reforming layer (2) is disposed at an upstream side of the oxidative exothermic layer (3); the reforming layer (2) and the oxidative exothermic layer (3) are in the form of a cylinder and have a triple circular tube structure forMed by disposing an inner reforming layer (2A), an oxidative exothermic layer (3) and an outer reforming layer (2B) from the inside in a radical direction in this order; and at least a part of the reforming catalyst filled in the inner reforming layer (2A) and the outer reforming layer (2B) contains Ru metal.
L~invention concerne un dispositif de reformation auto-thermique oxydante (1) comprenant une couche de reformation (2) dont au moins une partie est remplie d'un catalyseur de reformation, capable de mettre en contact un mélange d~hydrocarbure ou d~alcool aliphatique et de vapeur avec le catalyseur de reformation afin de produire un gaz reformé composé principalement d~hydrogène par une réaction de reformation, et une couche d~oxydation exothermique (3) dont au moins une partie est remplie d~un catalyseur d~oxydation, capable d~oxyder une partie du gaz reformé afin de générer de la chaleur, la couche de reformation (2) étant disposée en amont de la couche d~oxydation exothermique (3), et la couche de reformation (2) et la couche d~oxydation exothermique (3) étant cylindriques, et l~appareil (1) ayant une structure en triple tube circulaire composée d~une couche de reformation interne (2A), d~une couche d~oxydation exothermique (3) et d~une couche de reformation externe (2B) disposées successivement en direction radiale vers l'extérieur, et au moins une partie du catalyseur de reformation étant incorporé dans la couche de reformation interne (2A) et la couche de reformation externe (2B) contenant un métal Ru.
