A process for separating non-oxidizable compounds from a mixture containing at least one oxidizable compound. The mixture is contacted with ozone to oxidize oxidizable compounds to form oxidized compounds which are then converted to water-soluble hydrazones, followed by separation of the hydrazones from the mixture using precipitation, liquid liquid extraction, chromatography, etc.

Procédé de séparation des composés non oxydables d'avec un mélange comportant au moins un composé oxydable. Ledit mélange est mis en contact avec de l'ozone afin d'oxyder les composés oxydables pour former des composés oxydés qui sont convertis en hydrazones hydrosolubles lesquelles sont ensuite séparées du mélange par précipitation, extraction liquide/liquide, chromatographie etc.
