ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An oxide superconductive structure is composed of an oxide superconductor of a multi-layered perovskite structure and at least one covering layer which covers the oxide superconductor. The covering layer has airtightness and non-water permeability and the thermal conductivity of the covering layer at room temperature and the average thickness of the covering layer meet a specific relationship, and a covering layer which is positioned in contact with the oxide superconductor is not joined to the oxide superconductor.
